01Image decoding components

HEIC/HEIF decoding uses the unchanged CSP build from heic-to 1.6.5, built from libheif 1.23.5 and libde265 1.0.16. These components are distributed under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL). They are provided without warranty. FileMelon’s worker wrapper selects a single still image and applies size limits.

You may replace the decoder module in your own copy of this site. Reverse engineering for debugging modifications to these components is permitted under their licenses.

Source archives include component copyright notices. No images are sent to these projects or external services.

02PDF components

PDF creation and page editing use pdf-lib 1.17.1 under the MIT license. Page previews and image exports use Mozilla PDF.js 6.3.289 under Apache License 2.0. ZIP downloads use JSZip 3.10.1 under its MIT license option. Files and dependencies are processed or served locally by this website; no third-party converter receives your documents.

Document font components

Simple DOCX-to-PDF text layout uses @pdf-lib/fontkit 1.1.1 (MIT) and Noto Sans (SIL Open Font License 1.1). Conversion code runs locally. Font and library source: fontkit and Noto fonts.
