How to rotate image
- Choose a suitable static JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC/HEIF or AVIF from your device.
- Fix a sideways photo with a quarter turn, half turn or three-quarter turn. A 90 or 270 degree rotation swaps the output width and height.
- Choose an output format, prepare the image and use Download image to save it.
Will rotation cut off the corners?
These right-angle rotations preserve the complete image. This tool does not offer arbitrary-angle rotation.
Can I open iPhone HEIC and AVIF photos?
Yes. Static HEIC/HEIF photos are decoded on your device; the decoder loads only when needed. AVIF requires browser support. Image collections and animations are not supported. Exports are JPG, PNG or WebP, rather than HEIC or AVIF. For government forms, check whether conversion or editing is allowed.
What happens to my original?
Your original file is unchanged. Processing happens in this browser without uploading your image to FileMelon. A new export may have a different file size, colour appearance or metadata. Check the preview and output before using it.
